This policy covers awaretoawake.com and meet.awaretoawake.com.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, username, password (stored hashed).
• Membership and payment data via Stripe (we do not store full card numbers).
• Newsletter and form submissions (Fluent).
• Journal entries you write (private to your account).
• Course progress, Frequency points, and community posts you choose to publish.
• Meet profile information you add (photos, bio, messages).
• Technical data: IP, browser, pages viewed, cookies needed to run the site.

Why we use it

• To run your membership, login, course, and Social/Meet.
• To take payment and send invoices.
• To email you about your account, trial, and — if you opted in — the newsletter.
• To keep the site secure and understand what is used (analytics, if enabled).
• To meet UK law (tax, consumer, fraud).

Legal bases under UK GDPR: contract (membership), consent (newsletter, optional cookies), legitimate interests (security, basic analytics), legal obligation.

Who we share with

Hosting (Hostinger), payments (Stripe), email/CRM (Fluent), and similar processors who only act on our instructions. We do not sell your data. Meet and the main site are both ours; treat posts and messages there as visible to other members unless a tool is marked private (the journal is private).

How long we keep it

While your account is open, then as long as we must for tax and dispute records. You can ask us to delete your account. Some records we have to keep.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, deletion, restriction, or to object, and you can withdraw newsletter consent any time. Write to hello@awaretoawake.com. You can complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Children

The site and Meet are for people 18 and over. We do not knowingly take accounts from children.
