Affiliate Terms

Last updated: 6 October 2026

The Aware to Awake affiliate programme is operated by Daniel Spurgeon, trading as Aware to Awake. These terms explain how referrals, commissions and payments work.

Earn £5 for each qualifying monthly membership payment made by a customer you refer. Commission continues while that customer's qualifying membership remains active and their monthly payments are successfully collected.

Eligible commissions are paid at the end of each calendar month, after the refund holding period described below.

1. Joining the programme

Joining is free and subject to approval. You must be at least 18, provide accurate account information and accept these terms. Buying a membership is not a condition of becoming an affiliate.

Once approved, you receive a personal referral link. You are an independent affiliate, not an employee or authorised representative of Aware to Awake. There is no guaranteed income.

2. What earns commission

You earn a fixed £5 commission when an eligible referred customer's monthly Aware to Awake membership payment is successfully collected and confirmed. This applies to their first qualifying paid month and subsequent qualifying monthly renewal payments.

  • Free trials and complimentary memberships do not earn commission.
  • Pending, failed, refunded or reversed payments do not qualify.
  • You cannot earn commission from your own membership purchases.
  • Commission is for customer referrals, not recruiting other affiliates.
  • Other products, shops, courses, annual plans or separate apps are excluded unless we agree their commission terms with you in writing.

If a customer cancels, commission stops when their qualifying payments stop. A cancelled membership that is later restarted will be reviewed to confirm whether the original referral still applies.

3. How referrals are identified

Customers should use your personal referral link before registering and purchasing. Referral tracking depends on the website's tracking settings, cookie choices and the customer's browser.

Blocking cookies, changing devices or using a different browser can prevent automatic attribution. Where more than one affiliate is involved, we use the attribution setting recorded in our affiliate system and review credible evidence if attribution is disputed. The same payment will not earn commission for multiple affiliates.

If you believe a referral is missing, contact us with the approximate referral date and relevant evidence. Do not send passwords, bank details or unnecessary customer information. We will check the referral and payment records before confirming a commission.

4. Monthly renewals and record keeping

At present, renewal commissions are checked and recorded manually. An automatically displayed commission total may therefore not yet include every qualifying renewal.

We reconcile referred memberships against successful payment records before paying commissions. Moving to automated tracking later will not itself change your agreed £5 commission rate.

5. Refund holding period

Commission becomes eligible for payout 30 days after the qualifying customer payment, provided that payment has not been refunded, reversed or disputed. It is then included in the next month-end payout.

This holding period is an affiliate payout rule. It does not limit a customer's refund rights or guarantee that a payment cannot later be reversed.

If a payment is refunded or reversed after commission has already been paid, we will explain the adjustment and deduct that commission from future earnings. If there are no future earnings, we will contact you to arrange repayment.

6. When and how you are paid

We process eligible commissions on the last working day of each calendar month. There is no minimum payout threshold. Payments still within the holding period carry forward to a later payout.

Payouts are currently sent manually using the payment method agreed with you. You must provide accurate payment details through the agreed secure channel. Bank processing may affect when funds arrive.

We pay the agreed £5 commission for each qualifying payment. Any fees charged by your own bank or payment provider are your responsibility. If payment details are missing or invalid, your eligible balance remains recorded until payment can be completed.

You are responsible for declaring your affiliate income and handling any tax obligations that apply to you. Tell us if you are VAT registered so we can agree the appropriate invoicing arrangements.

7. Promoting Aware to Awake honestly

Share your own experience and explain the membership accurately. Clearly identify affiliate advertising before someone engages with it or clicks your referral link. Use a prominent label such as “Ad” and explain that you earn commission.

For example: “Ad: I earn commission if you join Aware to Awake through this link.”

  • Do not make misleading claims about prices, features, earnings, health benefits or guaranteed results.
  • Do not describe paid membership as permanently free. Explain any trial and subsequent recurring charge accurately.
  • Do not send unsolicited bulk messages, use fake reviews or create fraudulent referrals.
  • Do not impersonate Aware to Awake or promise discounts, refunds or special access we have not authorised.
  • Get written approval before running paid advertisements using our name, logo or branded search terms.
  • Respect copyright, privacy, platform rules and applicable advertising requirements.

8. Customer privacy

Refer people to the website to register themselves. Do not collect membership payments, passwords or sensitive personal information on our behalf.

Any customer information provided for checking a referral must be kept confidential and used only for that purpose. Do not add customers to your own marketing lists without an appropriate lawful basis.

9. Leaving or suspension

You may leave the programme by contacting us. We may suspend an account while investigating suspected fraud or a material breach of these terms. We will explain the reason and give you an opportunity to respond where reasonably possible.

Valid commissions already earned remain payable, subject to refund adjustments. Ending an affiliate account does not automatically erase commission properly earned.

10. Changes to the programme

We will give at least 30 days' written notice of material changes to commission rates or payout arrangements. Changes will not reduce commissions already earned.

Unless separately agreed with you in writing, an existing eligible referred membership keeps its £5 monthly commission while that membership continues and these terms are met. Different terms may apply to future referrals after notice.

11. Questions and disputes

Contact us if a referral, commission or payout appears incorrect. We will review the relevant records and explain our decision. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply.
